Day 1 - Arrival & Borgarfjörður Region. Start by visiting Deildatunguhver, Europe´s most powerful hot spring, followed by the mesmerizing Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls.
Day 2
- Akureyri. On the way to Akureyri stop at the scenic Bifröst and hike to Glanni waterfall and Grábrók crater. Continue through Skagafjörður, known for its horse farms, and stop in Sauðárkrókur and Blönduós for a taste of Icelandic countryside charm. In Akureyri, the capital of the north, explore the vibrant culture, botanical gardens, and excellent dining options.
Day 3- Dettifoss & Mývatn. the volcanic wonderland of Lake Mývatn. Along the way, stop at Goðafoss, the waterfall of the gods. In Mývatn, explore the surreal lava formations of Dimmuborgir, the steaming geothermal fields of Námaskarð. Explore Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall, and the echoing cliffs of Hljóðaklettar adds drama to the day. You can also visit Húsavík for whale watching or a horseback ride at Saltvík.
Day 4- Kerlingafjöll. Drive the Kjölur Highland Route to reach Kerlingafjöll, a geothermal hiking paradise where colorful rhyolite mountains and steaming vents create a surreal landscape perfect for ecploration.
Day 5- Golden Circle. This day brings you to the heart of Iceland´s most famous sights. Visit the thundering Gullfoss waterfall andthe erupting Geysir. Explore the eco-village of Sólheimar before driving to Reykjavík.
Day 6- Reykjavík. Explore the highlights of Reykjavik like Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa Concert Hall, The harbor, the Parliament, Town hall and many more.
